I know sheds aren’t built to last for centuries but it can be good to choose materials that are going to last a considerable amount of time, especially for the roof as it goes through drastic weather changes throughout the year. The roof of a shed doesn’t exactly require a specialist, yet there there are many different designs to choose between depending on the shape and size of your shed. For a flat roof we recommend fiberglass roofing, as this is extremely durable, whilst a Kemper coated roof is another good idea. You can also use slate tiles for a touch of class or even clay tiles, but your shed will need to be of a good build quality to hold the weight of such tiles. Make sure you choose a durable roof when you’re making improvements to your shed.
