The areas surrounded with trees normally prefer slated roof because of the fall of trees, heavy snow as bulk load. Slates are able to tolerate the mass. CGI sheets are used in the hilly terrain with heavy rainfall so that the rain water is washed out easily. In plain areas, normal RCC roves are used. These roves are able to accommodate next storey too. Wooden guarders are also used in the slab to provide better and long lasting stay to the roves.
